Macomb Intermediate Federation of. Paraprofessionals shall indemnify and save the Employer harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, damages, or other forms of liability of expense that may arise out of or by reason of action taken by the Employer for the purpose of complying with Sections 6 and 7 of this Article, including all court costs and reasonable legal fees of the Employer's counsel. The Union further agrees that if it shall fail to reimburse the Employer promptly upon demand for any of the aforesaid items, the Employer shall be entitled, in addition to any other legal remedies, to apply against such indebtedness of the Union to the Employer, until paid in full, thirty (30) percent of all membership dues and service fees collected by the Employer on behalf of the Union, pursuant to provisions of this Article. EFFECT OF AGREEMENT‌‌‌ Section 1: Commitment‌ The parties mutually agree that terms and conditions set forth in this agreement represent full and complete understanding and commitment between the parties.
