Lunchroom duty. B. The District agrees to make every effort to secure staff volunteers for all non-professional duties (i.e. bus chaperones, ticket sales, crowd control, dance supervision, etc.) prior to making assignments or other duties that do not require performance by a licensed professional. All persons performing such duties shall be paid twelve dollars ($12.00) per hour worked provided the duty is performed outside the employee’s normal workday.

Lunchroom duty. Unit members shall not be required to supervise in the cafeteria during student lunch time, except that teachers in the High School may be assigned in the cafeteria if such teacher’s schedule makes him/her available for supervision. When making such assignments, the administration shall first take into consideration whether there exists a sufficient pool of volunteers who will accept such an assignment. However, if enough volunteers are not obtained, teachers may be assigned as necessary. A rotation system will be developed to reasonably ensure that the duty will be spread among qualified staff.
Lunchroom duty. Breakfast and Lunch room duty will be voluntary. There will be an established school Breakfast and Lunch room duty volunteer calendar. Breakfast and lunch shall be provided free of charge for the days on which a teacher volunteers to have Breakfast and or Lunchroom duty.

  • Lunch If the Company elects to furnish a lunch meal, it will be suitable and may be in the form of a box lunch. The meal shall be eaten at the job site or a Company designated location. Employees eating a box lunch or other Company-provided lunch at the job site will be allowed 30 minutes paid time to eat and will also be granted the dollar amount of the meal allowance as specified under the labor agreement.

  • Light Duty Where the injured employee's treating physician authorized by the County recommends light-duty assignment, it will be the responsibility of the appointing authority to arrange suitable light duty. Department of Human Resources may provide staff technical assistance to find a suitable light-duty assignment, one which accommodates the particular restrictions provided by the treating physician.
