Low Census/Low Need. During a period of temporary low census or low need, the Employer will seek out volunteers to take time off or float to other areas if the need exists before determining and implementing the reduced staffing schedule required within a job classification. In the event there are no volunteers, the Employer will endeavor to rotate low census equitably among all employees, starting with the least senior employee first, providing skill, competence, ability and availability are considered equal as determined by the Employer and patient care needs requiring specific skill level are retained. Where unanticipated low census occurs in the inpatient facility, Tacoma, Bellevue, Capitol Hill ambulatory surgery units, Bellevue and Capitol Hill Shared Procedures Units, or Home Health and Hospice, the following steps will be taken in the order below:

Low Census/Low Need. During a period of temporary low census or low need, the Employer will seek out volunteers to take time off before determining and implementing the reduced staffing schedule required. When not enough volunteers are available, the necessary involuntary staff reduction will be scheduled off on a seniority basis by department or facility, classification and shift, providing the skill, competence and ability of employees within that facility are substantially equal. Temporary employees will not be employed when a regular employee subject to low census/low need is qualified to perform the work of the temporary employee. Prior to any, involuntary staff reduction during a period of temporary low census or low need, the Employer will use its best efforts to find alternative work at that location for the affected employees.
Low Census/Low Need. During a temporary period of low census or low need, the Hospital will seek out volunteers to take time off before determining and implementing the reduced staffing schedule required. When there are insufficient volunteers reduced staffing shall be applied in the following order: (1) agency employees, (2) scheduled overtime, (3) per diem employees, and (4) full-time and part-time employees scheduled by seniority rotation, within the department, job classification and shift for those employees working on the affected shift, providing the remaining employees are qualified to perform the required work. Volunteer days off will be counted for purposes of rotation. The rotation documentation will be worked out by mutual agreement within each department. Hours lost to low census will not affect Paid Time Off or sick leave accrual. Employees on a temporarily reduced schedule as a result of low census have the option of using paid time off for the time that they are on a temporarily reduced schedule, but may not use sick hours for such time unless the time is utilized for activities that qualify for Sick Leave usage (see Article 12.2).

  • Low Census Low census is defined as a decline in patient care requirements resulting in a temporary staff decrease. During periods of low census, the Employer will assign low census to nurses in the following order:

  • CERTIFICATION REGARDING BOYCOTTING CERTAIN ENERGY COMPANIES (Texas law as of September 1, 2021) By submitting a proposal to this Solicitation, you certify that you agree, when it is applicable, to the following required by Texas law as of September 1, 2021: If (a) company is not a sole proprietorship; (b) company has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this contract has a value of $100,000 or more that is to be paid wholly or partly from public funds, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required. Pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code Ch. 2274 of SB 13 (87th session), the company hereby certifies and verifies that the company, or any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company, or affiliate of these entities or business associations, if any, does not boycott energy companies and will not boycott energy companies during the term of the contract. For purposes of this contract, the term “company” shall mean an organization, association, corporation, partnership, joint venture, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, or limited liability company, that exists to make a profit. The term “boycott energy company” shall mean “without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company (a) engages in the exploration, production, utilization, transportation, sale, or manufacturing of fossil fuel-based energy and does not commit or pledge to meet environmental standards beyond applicable federal and state law, or (b) does business with a company described by paragraph (a).” See Tex. Gov’t Code § 809.001(1).

  • DNS service availability Refers to the ability of the group of listed-­‐as-­‐authoritative name servers of a particular domain name (e.g., a TLD), to answer DNS queries from DNS probes. For the service to be considered available at a particular moment, at least, two of the delegated name servers registered in the DNS must have successful results from “DNS tests” to each of their public-­‐DNS registered “IP addresses” to which the name server resolves. If 51% or more of the DNS testing probes see the service as unavailable during a given time, the DNS service will be considered unavailable.

  • DNS name server availability Refers to the ability of a public-­‐DNS registered “IP address” of a particular name server listed as authoritative for a domain name, to answer DNS queries from an Internet user. All the public DNS-­‐registered “IP address” of all name servers of the domain name being monitored shall be tested individually. If 51% or more of the DNS testing probes get undefined/unanswered results from “DNS tests” to a name server “IP address” during a given time, the name server “IP address” will be considered unavailable.

  • Special Service networks The following services must be received from special service network providers in order to be covered. All terms and conditions outlined in the Summary of Benefits apply.

  • EPP service availability Refers to the ability of the TLD EPP servers as a group, to respond to commands from the Registry accredited Registrars, who already have credentials to the servers. The response shall include appropriate data from the Registry System. An EPP command with “EPP command RTT” 5 times higher than the corresponding SLR will be considered as unanswered. If 51% or more of the EPP testing probes see the EPP service as unavailable during a given time, the EPP service will be considered unavailable.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where EveryCall has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC) systems to provide the local service to the end user and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to EveryCall. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for EveryCall (e.g. hairpinning):

  • System for Award Management (XXX) Requirement Alongside a signed copy of this Agreement, Grantee will provide Florida Housing with a XXX.xxx proof of registration and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) number. Grantee will continue to maintain an active XXX registration with current information at all times during which it has an active award under this Agreement.
