Common use of Loss of Use Clause in Contracts

Loss of Use. 13.1. In addition to the cost of repairing any Damage as set out in the Agreement, you will also be liable to pay the Rental Charges for the period during which the Vehicle is being repaired or the period between a Vehicle being stolen (or a crime reference number provided as set out in clause 6.6.3 and 12.1.4(c)) or deemed a total loss and returned to us to reflect the loss of use of the Vehicle (up to a maximum of the Rental Charges for a period of twenty eight (28) days) in accordance with Clause 6.10. 13.2. If you require a replacement Vehicle from us during any period in which a Vehicle is being repaired or the period during which a Vehicle is stolen, you shall be responsible for the Rental Charges in respect of that replacement Vehicle, in addition to the charges identified at Clauses 6.10.1, 6.10.2, 12.3, 12.6, and 13.1.
