Common use of Long Term Leaves Clause in Contracts

Long Term Leaves. A leave of absence for a period not to exceed one (1) year shall be granted to an employee in order to accept a full-time position with the Union. The employee shall not lose nor accrue bargaining unit seniority during this period. An employee returning before or at three (3) months shall return to her former unit and position. After three (3) but within six (6) months the employee shall return to a comparable position.

Long Term Leaves. A leave of absence for a period not to exceed one ninety (190) year shall days may be granted to an employee in order to accept a full-time position with the Union. The employee shall not lose nor or accrue bargaining unit seniority during this period. An employee returning before or at three within thirty (330) months days shall return to her her/his former unit and position. After three thirty (330) but within six ninety (690) months days, the employee shall return to a comparable positionposition if available. This right may be exercised only once in a twelve (12) month period.

The employee shall not lose nor accrue bargaining unit seniority during this period. An employee returning before or at three within twelve (312) months shall return to her former unit a position of similar status and position. After three (3) but within six (6) months pay for which the employee shall return to is qualified. This right may be exercised only once in a comparable positiontwelve (12) month period.
