Common use of Long Term Leave Clause in Contracts

Long Term Leave. Leave of absence without pay may be authorized to Technicians upon recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and approval of the Board of Education. If granted, such leave will be without compensation and without benefits except that the employee may continue health coverage at his/her sole expense as may be required or permitted under COBRA.
