LOMR/CLOMR Clause Samples

The LOMR/CLOMR clause addresses the process and requirements for obtaining a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) or Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regarding floodplain boundaries. This clause typically outlines the party responsible for submitting applications, providing necessary documentation, and bearing associated costs when a project may alter floodplain designations. By specifying these obligations, the clause ensures that any changes to floodplain maps are properly managed and compliant with regulatory standards, thereby reducing the risk of future disputes or noncompliance with flood insurance and development regulations.
LOMR/CLOMR. A-E may be required to prepare a floodplain study for any type of FEMA map change such as a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) or Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) for an OCFCD facility.
