Common use of Log Book Clause in Contracts

Log Book. (1) An employer shall provide his or her driver with a log-book as nearly as practicable in the form and manner as specified by the Council from time to time. (2) Every driver shall, in the log-book referred to in sub-clause (1), keep a daily log in duplicate in respect of each day's work and shall within 24 hours of the completion of the work to which it relates deliver a copy thereof to his employer and the employer shall retain such copy for a period of at least three years subsequent to such delivery.
