Common use of Limited Service Clause in Contracts

Limited Service. In cases in which an employee under Section 603(a) is required to perform the usual and customary janitorial duties referred to in Section 401(a),(b),(c),(d),(e),(f),(g) and (h), but only in respect to the common areas of the premises and to perform no services whatsoever inside of any of the apartment units (except in emergencies when necessary to protect common areas and property), the wages otherwise due to an employee hired prior to December 1, 1978 may be adjusted down by not more than an additional seven and one-half percent (7- 1/2%) or a total of fifteen percent (15%). Such services performed by an employee hired on or after December 1, 1978, shall be subject to an additional downward adjustment of ten percent (10%) or a total of twenty percent (20%).
