LIGHT FITTINGS. Light fixture shall be fixed in a sturdy and safe manner as per best trade practice and according to the instructions of the manufacturers. Lights should be suspended from the ceiling , mounted on wall as per BOQ and as advised by engineer in charge. Down rods for lights shall be in single length, no joint shall be permitted.

LIGHT FITTINGS. Light fittings to be provided in the work shall be as per the specifications given in Engineer – In - Charge’s technical instructions No. 3 (Revised) 1986 as amended from time to time. The unit rate quoted for light fittings deemed to include supply and fix light fittings on seasoned wood block and fixed on walls or roofs as ordered and connecting electrically through porcelain connector with the electrical system (fittings internally pre wired with good quality copper conductor flexible wire) and all materials required for fixing and connecting the same. The rates also include for cutting holes in walls or roofs for fixing wooden plugs or xxxx plugs or gutties as ordered and making good the disturbed surface to match with the existing surface.
LIGHT FITTINGS. A. Living, Dining, Kitchen area – Recessed downlights as per electrical and lighting plan layout and as per developer’s preferred choice and range.

LIGHT FITTINGS. 17.1 Light fitting shall be all as specified in BOQ S(ch `A’). The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for fixing the fittings and connecting up complete with necessary connectors cable etc. all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Particular attention is drawn to the neatness in appearance, which is to be achieved by judicious location of light fittings and main controls etc.
