License Control. Licensee acknowledges that the Software may contain code or require license keys or that detect or prevent unauthorized use of, or disable, the Software.

The Wizlink Software is licensed in a floating licensing mode, therefore it controls the number of the granted licenses by contacting the Wizlink Licensing Service over the Internet. Blocking the above mentioned control mechanisms may result in Wizlink Software being inoperable.

User shall not avoid, circumvent, or disable any security device, procedure, protocol, or mechanism that Park Assist may include, require or establish with respect to the Software or the Services.

License Control. Software may contain standard license control mechanisms to ensure that it is functional only during the period covered by the license key that Software is paired with. As such, if Licensee procures Software on a temporary or subscription basis, Licensee shall keep the license key information in Software up to date to ensure that Software functions without interruption. Depending on Software, the above may be achieved by enabling the automated license control option in Software or by manually pairing the most up to date license key with Software. Genetec will not be responsible for any interruption in Software if Licensee fails to pair the most up to date license key with Software in a timely manner.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that (i) the Perpetual Software and software that is delivered as part of the Subscription Software may contain code or require devices that detect or prevent unauthorized use of the Perpetual Software and/or that will disable the Perpetual Software if it so detects unauthorized use, and (ii) Customer will provide Park Assist reasonable access to the automated audit logs maintained by the Perpetual Software. Customer shall not avoid, circumvent, or disable any security device, procedure, protocol, or mechanism that Park Assist may include, require or establish with respect to the Perpetual Software or the Subscription Software.
