Common use of LIAISON COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

LIAISON COMMITTEE. A. There will be established a Liaison Committee composed of two (2) administrators and two (2) Association members. A continuing purpose of this committee shall be to address operational and educational concerns, which are deemed to require attention. B. The Liaison Committee will hold an organizational meeting within one (1) month of the beginning of school at the request of either party. Thereafter, the chairperson will call a meeting when requested by a member. C. The Liaison Committee will not have jurisdiction over contract negotiations, contract interpretation nor will it be used as a means of bypassing the grievance procedure or the timelines set forth therein.
