Common use of Legal Relationship Clause in Contracts

Legal Relationship. The Park Board and the Association are independent contracting bodies, not legal partners nor joint employers, nor are they in a landlord-tenant relationship. This Agreement is being entered into between the parties to create certainty around the roles and obligations of the parties with respect to their respective operations at the Jointly Operated Facilities and to permit the Association’s use of and operations at the Jointly Operated Facilities, including for the provision of Programming and services to the public through the Jointly Operated Facilities for the benefit of the residents of City of Vancouver. Through this Agreement, once fully executed, the Park Board is granting to the Association the rights set out herein, including the right to non-exclusive use and occupation of the Jointly Operated Facilities and use of the Common Spaces, on and subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
