Legal Custody. The parties understand that legal custody is the right and responsibility to make major decisions on behalf of a child. Legal custody includes, but is not limited to, the right to make medical, religious and educational decisions for a child. The parties also understand that except in unusual situations both parents generally share legal custody even if a child lives primarily with only one parent. The parties agree that legal custody of the above-listed child(ren) will be as follows:
Legal Custody. The Parties shall have shared legal custody of the Children. The Parties shall consult and make best efforts to agree on major life decisions for the Children, including for example, religious upbringing and education, major medical procedures, the Children’s activities, education, including the choice of college, disciplinary matters of a substantial nature, and the Children’s participation in any hazardous activities. The Wife shall have the authority and responsibility for decisions concerning the daily living needs, care and activities of the Children when they are in her care. The Husband shall have the authority and responsibility for decisions concerning the daily living needs, care and activities of the Children when they are in his care. It shall at all times be the objective of both Parties to decide all questions affecting the Children in such a manner as to promote the safety, welfare, happiness and well-being of the Children and to share the responsibility for making such decisions.
Legal Custody. We will share joint legal custody of the children. This means that we will share important decisions affecting the children. Each parent will have complete access to medical, school, and other documentary information concerning the children. Legal Custody. In the event of a custodial disagreement, Youth Programs Staff can only deny access to a youth from their guardian if a court order is on file. It is in the best interest of the youth to resolve all of these conflicts prior to program attendance.
