Common use of LEED Requirements Clause in Contracts

LEED Requirements. Tenant acknowledges that Landlord currently intends to (but shall not be required to) operate the Building in accordance with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program’s standards, as the same may be amended, supplemented, or replaced from time to time, or, at Landlord’s sole option, any similar standards (hereinafter referred to as “LEED”).
