Leadperson. Employees assigned to lead positions will receive a salary that is two (2) classifications, or five percent (5%) higher than the highest paid person supervised during the term of their position. If they should relinquish their lead person position, they would revert back to the salary range held immediately prior to accepting lead status.
Leadperson. There shall be one (1) Leadperson whenever an employee is coordinating the work flow for a group of six (6) or more journeypersons, helpers or trainees. The Leadperson shall not lay off other employees. Said Leadperson shall receive a ten percent (10%) premium. The Employer retains the right to designate and demote the Leadperson, who shall be a journeyperson.
Leadperson. 24.15.01 The word "leadperson" does not designate a job classification but merely describes a person leading a job classification, and a leadperson shall be deemed to be in the classification which describes the duties which the employee performs other than employee’s leadperson duties. Consideration shall first be given to those employees on the shift within the department reporting to their immediate Management Representative where the requirement exists and then within the entire Departmental Seniority Unit where the requirement exists.
Leadperson a The Employer r-e-serves the right to appoint any bargaining for any length of period and at any time it deems appropriate. An employee who is appointed to a leadperson position, and works at least one hour as a leadperson, will be paid a minimum of fifty cents an hour above his regular rate.
Leadperson. The Company shall have the right to appoint one or more Leadpeople without placing the job up for bidding pursuant to Article XV. The Union will be notified at the time any Leadperson is appointed. Leadperson. Regularly acting as a Leadperson in assigned areas in addition to performing production work. Must be capable of operating any machine and be thoroughly familiar with the routine on all jobs in the area of responsibility, and shall act as Leadperson in the absence of management supervision or when directed to act in a supervisory capacity by the Company consistent with the Act. With respect to the filling of the position of Leadperson, the following conditions shall govern:
Leadperson. The leadperson classification will apply to those persons designated by the company to perform duties, including but not limited to: planning activities, and/or maintenance work systems, and/or to exercise the responsibility and authority to direct the work of other employees in addition to performing their own work. Employees receiving the leadperson designation who work rotating swing shift shall be termed tour leadperson, while day workers shall be termed day leadperson.
Leadperson. Leadperson positions may be established and filled by the Company by the assignment of any employee who in the Company's sole discretion and opinion, is qualified to fill such a position, and who is willing to accept such assignment. Employees in Leadperson positions may be used to replace regular supervisors who are temporarily absent or they may be used on a permanent or temporary basis to perform lead duties in any area. They will not be responsible for administering discipline. Leadperson employees are required to perform regular duties in addition to their lead duties. Leadperson positions may run for indefinite periods of time and may be filled or vacated at the Company's discretion. The rate of pay of a Leadperson will be $2.00 over the highest rate supervised.
Leadperson a. A Leadperson shall be a Skilled Trades employee who, while engaged in regular occupation, leads or processes the work of two or more others in own department. Only a Journeypersonshall be considered as a Leadperson. A Leadperson shall have seniority as a Journeyperson in respective trade and shall be subject to all the provisions of the Skilled Trades schedule. Unless provided otherwise in the classificationsa Leadperson shall receive twenty (20) cents per hour above the top rate of the trade supervised.
Leadperson. A. In the event that a bargaining unit member is promoted to "Leadperson" during the term of this contract, his/her salary shall be increased by ten (10) percent of their current annual base pay on the date of their appointment. Each subsequent increase on July 1 will be based on the annual base pay without the additional lead rate. The
