LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. (a) Lead Warning Statement. Housing built before 1978 may contain lead based paint. Lead from paint, paint chips, and dust can pose health hazards if not taken care of properly. Lead exposure is especially harmful to young children and pregnant women. Before renting pre 1978 housing, landlords must disclose the presence of known lead based paint and lead based paint hazards in the dwelling.

LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. X Tenant acknowledges that Landlord has informed Tenant that the Premises was constructed prior to 1978, and that the Premises may contain lead based paint; that Landlord has disclosed to Tenant information on lead based paint and lead based paint hazards; and that Landlord has furnished to tenant a federally approved pamphlet on lead poisoning prevention.
LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. Every buyer of any interest in residential real property on which a residential dwelling was built prior to 1978 is notified that such property may present exposure to lead from lead-based paint that may place young children at risk of developing lead poisoning. Lead poisoning in young children may produce permanent neurological damage, including learning disabilities, reduced intelligence quotient, behavioral problems and impaired memory. Lead poisoning also poses a particular risk to pregnant women. The Seller of any interest in residential real property is required to provide the Buyer with any information on lead-based paint hazards from risk assessments or inspections in the Seller's possession and notify the Buyer of any known lead-based paint hazards. A risk assessment or inspection for possible lead-based paint hazards is recommended prior to purchase.
LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. To fully comply with the Federal EPA regulations regarding communications about use of lead- based paint in residential facilities, the following information is provided to all residents of campus- owned and leased apartment style housing specifically Whitehall Apartments, Mansfield Apartments, York-Crown Apartments, Esplanade Apartments, 68 Mansfield; and the Sterling Quadrangle Apartments. (Exempt from lead paint disclosure are dormitory housing and efficiency- style apartments.) All Yale apartment-style housing was built before 1978. Housing built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Before renting pre-1978 housing, landlords must disclose the presence of known lead-based paint and lead-based paint hazards in the dwelling. The University recognizes that any housing built prior to 1978 may contain lead-based paint and/or lead-based paint hazards. By accepting this contract, you are affirming that you have reviewed Protect Your Family from Lead In Your Home xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/lead/protect-your-family-exposures-lead TERM: The term of this contract is stated above. I shall have no right to renew the term of this contract without the prior consent of the University. I agree to respond to the Yale Housing Office March Housing Intent to inform them whether I will be requesting renewal or vacating the unit. If I do not contact the Yale Housing Office, the University shall conclude that I have no intention to renew and can enter into an agreement with another party at the expiration of the term. Residents residing in 000 Xxx Xxxxxx do not have the option to renew. The Housing License Agreement for 272 Elm will be for a period of one academic year (August to May) only.
LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. Owner represents that the Property was was not constructed prior to 1978. If the Property was built before 1978, Owner will complete and attach to this Agreement an addendum regarding lead base paint and lead based paint hazards that will be made part of any lease of the Property. If the Property was built before 1978, federal law requires the Owner (before a Tenant is obligated under a lease) to: (1) provide the Tenant with the federally approved pamphlet on lead poisoning prevention; (2) disclose the presence of any known lead based paint or hazards in the Property; and (3) deliver all records and reports to the Tenant related to such paint or hazards. Co-operate with Management to facilitate the showing, marketing and lease of the Property. Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Agent from any inadequate disclosure set forth on the lead based paint form.
LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. It is the Landlord’s belief that the house you are renting contains lead-based paint which was commonly in use prior to the year 1978. Lead is known to pose serious health hazards if ingested. Although it can harm adults at higher levels, it is critical that infants and small children not be allowed to ingest lead paint chips or lead paint dust which may occur in old houses. The lead paint in this house has been largely encapsulated with subsequent coats of non-lead paint to reduce this hazard and to comply with the City Property Maintenance Code.

MEGAN'S LAW DISCLOSURE Federal and State law requires that all persons who plead guilty or have been found guilty of sex crimes must register with the Chief of Police in the city in which that person resides, or the Sheriff of the county if no Chief of Police exists. To obtain further information regarding persons required by law to register as sexual offenders, contact the local Chief of Police or the County Sheriff. The Tenant acknowledges that the Landlord and Agent to this transaction do not have an affirmative duty to obtain information regarding crime statistics or offender registration. If that information is important to Tenant, Tenant has been given the applicable telephone numbers to call and obtain that information themselves.

LEAD PAINT DISCLOSURE. As required by the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992, the Landlord has provided Tenant with a "Protect Your Family From Lead In Your Home" pamphlet, and a disclosure statement identifying any known presence of lead paint in the Leased Property or building. The disclosure statement is attached as Exhibit A.
