Common use of Layover Time Clause in Contracts

Layover Time. In the event a driver is required to layover at some point away from home terminal, shall be paid as follows: a full eight (8) hours of pay at the regular rate of pay. This will constitute one eight (8) hour day in the regular span of twenty-four (24) hours.
