Lay-off Procedure. (a) Where a surplus of employee(s) within a classification exists on a shift, the Employer may serve a notice of lay-off to the most junior employee(s) in the same classification on that shift. However, if the employee(s) thus served with notice have greater seniority than an employee(s) on another shift in the same classification; they may bump such most junior employee(s).
