Law School. Exchange Document Viewer License User may access LSE Content through links on TWEN including some content only after payment of the applicable fee. Access to individual LSE Content is limited to 12 months from the date of payment or, for those materials not requiring fee, until links to the content within TWEN has been removed while the User has relevant TWEN access. West grants User the right to access and use LSE Content consistent with this Agreement, with the additional right to highlight text and add notes. User may use LSE Content solely for Educational Purposes. Use of LSE Content may be subject to additional terms defined by the underlying rights holder and noted on the content.

  • University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

  • High School The District shall continue with its current practices to provide a continuous, uninterrupted preparation period during the school day.

  • Middle School Middle school teachers shall have an instructional/supervisory load not to exceed two-hundred seventy (270) minutes per day during the student attendance day with the instructional load not to exceed two-hundred twenty-five (225) minutes per day and five (5) instructional groups. A tenure teacher may volunteer for an instructional load not to exceed two-hundred seventy (270) minutes per day and six (6) instructional groups. The supervisory load shall not exceed forty-five (45) minutes and shall be limited to one assignment of student supervision which shall include, but not be limited to, study hall, library, lunchroom and/or hall supervision. Such supervisory duties shall be assigned each year pursuant to a plan jointly determined by the school/department committee and the building administration.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOLS 1. Where there are no negotiated provisions concerning the implementation or operation of a middle school program, this article shall govern the implementation or operation of a middle school program in a school district.

  • Summer School The Appointing Authority shall notify all supervisors of all summer school openings. A supervisor may agree to voluntarily remain on layoff in the event of a recall by requesting such action through a written waiver mutually agreed to and signed by the Appointing Authority and the supervisor. Once the supervisor elects to sign the waiver of recall, such supervisor shall not be able to exercise his/her seniority rights for recall for the duration of the summer school. The Appointing Authority agrees to provide a signed copy of any waiver of recall to both the Association and the supervisor. Any waiver of recall by a supervisor is not to be considered a refusal to return to work and shall not be considered to be a break in continuous service. This section does not, in any way, constitute a forfeiture of the Appointing Authority's right to recall laid off supervisors, whenever necessary, to carry out the functions and needs of the summer school programs. Notification of intent to return to work may be made in writing and hand delivered, provided that a written receipt of such notification is given.

  • Research, Science and Technology Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in research, science and technology, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to build on existing agreements already in place for cooperation on research, science and technology; (b) to encourage, where appropriate, government agencies, research institutions, universities, private companies and other research organizations in the Parties to conclude direct arrangements in support of cooperative activities, programs or projects within the framework of this Agreement, specially related to trade and commerce; and (c) to focus cooperative activities towards sectors where mutual and complementary interests exist, with special emphasis on information and communication technologies and software development to facilitate trade between the Parties. 2. The Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities including, but not limited to:

  • HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION 9.1 The Purchaser acknowledges that it is anticipated that the Property will fall under the jurisdiction of the HOA, being a new Homeowners’ Association which shall come/came into existence on registration of transfer of the first Erf in the Development from the Seller to a third party purchaser, it being recorded that the HOA is established for the benefit of, inter alia, all of owners of erven in the Development and to control and maintain roads, services and amenities within, inter alia, the Development.

  • Subcontractor Insurance In accord with Good Utility Practice, each Constructing Entity shall require each of its subcontractors to maintain and provide evidence of insurance coverage of types, and in amounts, commensurate with the risks associated with the services provided by the subcontractor. Bonding of contractors or subcontractors shall be at the hiring Constructing Entity’s discretion, but regardless of bonding, the hiring principal shall be responsible for the performance or non- performance of any contractor or subcontractor it hires.

  • Generelt A.   • School Any public elementary or secondary school including a charter school, universal pre- kindergarten program authorized pursuant to Education Law § 3602-e, an approved provider of preschool special education, any other publicly funded pre-kindergarten program, a school serving children in a special act school district as defined in Education Law § 4001, an approved private school for the education of students with disabilities, a State-supported school subject to the provisions of Article 85 of the Education Law, or a State-operated school subject to the provisions of Articles 87 or 88 of the Education Law.
