Common use of Late Payment Charges Clause in Contracts

Late Payment Charges. If either Party fails to remit payment for any charges for services by the applicable due date, or if a payment or any portion of a payment is received by the billing Party from the paying Party after the applicable due date, or if a payment or any portion of a payment is received in funds which are not immediately available to the billing Party as of the due date (individually and collectively, “Past Due”), then interest shall be assessed as follows in Sections 27.13.1
