LASTLINE’S OBLIGATIONS. 4.1 In addition to Clause 5 (a) SCC, Lastline shall in the course of providing Services, including with regard to transfers of personal data to a third country, process Customer’s personal data only on behalf of and under the documented Instructions of Customer unless required to do so otherwise by the law applicable to Lastline; in such a case, Lastline shall inform the Customer of that legal requirement before processing, unless that law prohibits such information on important grounds of public interest; 4.2 Lastline shall take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that any natural person acting under its authority who has access to personal data does not process such personal data except on Instructions from the Customer, unless Lastline, he or she is otherwise required to do so by applicable law. 4.3 Lastline ensures that persons authorized to process the personal data have committed themselves to confidentiality or are under an appropriate statutory obligation of confidentiality and that the obligation will remain after termination of this Lastline DPA.
