Language Proficiency Allowance. 25.1 Language Proficiency Allowance (LPA) will be paid to eligible employees. 25.2 The rates and conditions applicable for LPA will be determined by the Director-General. Language Proficiency Allowance. 25.1 14.1 Language Proficiency Allowance (LPA) will be paid to eligible employeesas an allowance at a rate commensurate with the level achieved in an officially recognised language test. 25.2 14.2 The rates and conditions applicable for LPA will be in conjunction with approved ONA policies and as determined by the Director-General.
