Laid off Employee. An employee separated from the service of the Corporation by reason of the abolition of his position, or by reason of being replaced by another employee in the exercise of his seniority rights.
Laid off Employee. An employee who has lost employment with the District due to a reduction in force. Laid off employees are on the recall list by seniority.
Laid off Employee. An employee who as a result of the displacement procedure cannot assume another position or elects to waive the displacement procedure.
Laid off Employee. At the end of the displacing (bumping) process, the employee who 39 is displaced (bumped) and unable to displace another employee pursuant to the above provisions, 40 shall be laid off. 41

Laid off Employee is an employee who has been laid off and is on the recall list as provided in Section 18.4.
Laid off Employee. A regular employee who is in layoff status by proper written notice from the Company. Casual Employee - An employee having no seniority rights under this Agreement. Unless specifically provided otherwise, casual employees are not entitled to any of the benefits or guarantees of this Agreement, except the hourly wage rate when put to work. Unless the language in the Agreement clearly refers to a specific employee definition(s), the term employee(s) shall be deemed to encompass all regular employees (those having established seniority dates).
Laid off Employee. Employee that has been given a 15 day notice and been removed from the Company’s active payroll due to reduction in force or employee laid off following short term recall in accordance with Article IX, paragraph
