Hong Kong” the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC;
Hong Kong means the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China;
China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.
PRC means the People’s Republic of China, but solely for the purposes of this Agreement, excluding Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region and the islands of Taiwan.
Macau means the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China;
Cayman Islands means the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory.
Mainland China means the People's Republic of China but excluding Hong Kong and Macau;
Korea means the Republic of Korea.
Boycott of Israel has the meaning ascribed to that term in Section 3 of Nevada Senate Xxxx 26 (2017). The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for fines, penalties, and payment of any State of Nevada or federal funds that may arise (including those that the CITY pays, becomes liable to pay, or becomes liable to repay) as a direct result of the CONTRACTOR’s non- compliance with this Section.
Hong Kong Stock Exchange means The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited;
Singapore means the Republic of Singapore and, when used in a geographical sense, includes its land territory, internal waters and territorial sea, as well as any maritime area situated beyond the territorial sea which has been or might in the future be designated under its national law, in accordance with international law, as an area within which Singapore may exercise sovereign rights or jurisdiction with regards to the sea, the sea-bed, the subsoil and the natural resources;
HKSAR means the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China;
People s Bank of China” means People’s Bank of China acting as the central bank of the People’s Republic of China pursuant to the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the People’s Bank of China promulgated by the National People’s Congress on 18 March 1995.
India means the territory of India and includes the territorial sea and airspace above it, as well as any other maritime zone in which India has sovereign rights, other rights and jurisdiction, according to the Indian law and in accordance with international law, including the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea;
CJI means criminal justice information collected by criminal justice agencies needed for the performance of their authorized functions, including, without limitation, all information defined as criminal justice information by the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy, as amended and all Criminal Justice Records as defined under §24-72-302, C.R.S.
HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.
Asia means Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Australia means the Commonwealth of Australia.
Gang means a group that: (a) Consists of three or more
HK$ Hong Kong dollars, the lawful currency of Hong Kong;
Italy means the Italian Republic and includes any area beyond the territorial waters which is designated as an area within which Italy, in compliance with its legislation and in conformity with the International Law, exercises sovereign rights in respect of the exploration and exploitation of the natural resources of the seabed, the subsoil and the superjacent waters;
Bermuda means the Islands of Bermuda;
Hong Kong Listing Rules means the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited;
Sweden means the Kingdom of Sweden and, when used in a geographical sense, includes the national territory, the territorial sea of Sweden as well as other maritime areas over which Sweden in accordance with international law exercises sovereign rights or jurisdiction;
Finland means the Republic of Finland and, when used in a geographical sense, means the territory of the Republic of Finland, and any area adjacent to the territorial waters of the Republic of Finland within which, under the laws of Finland and in accordance with international law, the rights of Finland with respect to the exploration for and exploitation of the natural resources of the sea bed and its sub-soil and of the superjacent waters may be exercised;
Chile means the Republic of Chile.
