Kit Carson County Interagency Oversight Group Collaborative Management Process. An integrated service system will include the nationally recognized core principles of a System of Care. The core values are that the system is: child-centered and family-focused, community-based and culturally competent where individuals and families work in partnership with public and private organizations to build on the strengths of each individual. The ten Guiding Principles are:
1. Access to a comprehensive array of services that address physical, emotional, social, and educational needs.
2. Individualized services that address the unique needs and potential of a child; guided by an individualized service plan
3. Least restrictive, most normative environment.
4. Families are full participants in planning and service delivery.
5. Services are integrated & coordinated across agencies and programs.

The Kit Carson County Interagency Oversight Group (KCCIOG) has established a collaborative management process to be utilized by individualized service and support teams.
