Common use of Keys and Access Cards Clause in Contracts

Keys and Access Cards. Contractor will be furnished, or given access to, keys and access cards to the Service Areas and will be held responsible for their use and misuse. All keys and access cards remain the property of University. Contractor will be liable for the cost of any replacement keys and access cards, and for the cost of any re-keying or re-programming of locks necessitated by loss of keys and access cards. University keys and access cards will not be taken out of the Service Areas [Option: except for keys and access cards necessary for Contractor's Supervisory Staff to access the Space (ref. Section 19)].
