Common use of KEEP TIDY Clause in Contracts

KEEP TIDY. 6. Not at any time during the Term to allow or permit any weeds or undergrowth to accumulate upon the Premises or any part thereof for the time being remaining unbuilt upon nor to cause or allow any roads or pavements abutting on the Premises to be untidy or in a dirty condition but at all times to keep the Premises and the said land, roads and footpaths in a clean neat and tidy state and condition and free from weeds, deposits of materials and refuse and not to bring or keep or suffer to be brought or kept upon any land as aforesaid any materials, equipment or plant or anything which is or might become untidy, uncleanly, unsightly or in any way detrimental to the amenity of the area and within one month of the service thereof to comply with the reasonable requirements of any written notice to restore the amenity as aforesaid and in the event of the Tenant failing to comply with such notice the Landlord shall be entitled to enter upon the Premises and carry out any necessary works and to recover the reasonable and proper cost thereof from the Tenant.
