Common use of Journeyman Clause in Contracts

Journeyman. If less than two (2) years have elapsed, employee shall be considered as a Journeyman. If two to three (2-3) years have elapsed, employee shall be considered a Step 4 Apprentice; if three to four (3-4) years have elapsed, the employee shall be considered a Step 3 Apprentice for three (3) months and then be given a Step 4 Apprentice rate for three (3) months, then given Journeyman rate. If more than four (4) years have elapsed, no credit shall be given.

Journeyman. If less than two (2) years have elapsed, employee shall be considered as to be a Journeyman. If two (2) to three (2-3) years have elapsed, the employee shall =hall be considered a 4th Step 4 Apprentice; if three (3) to four (3-4) years have elapsed, the employee shall be considered a 3rd Step 3 Apprentice for three (3) months and then be given a Step 4 Apprentice rate for three (3) months, then given Journeyman rateApprentice. If more than four (4) years have elapsed, no credit shall be given.

If more than four (4) years have elapsed, no credit shall be given.
