Common use of Job Posting Process Clause in Contracts

Job Posting Process. (a) As per Article 8.02 of the full-time section of this Agreement and as per the following: (b) The Employer agrees to post on designated bulletin boards all part- time job openings. As openings become available the Employer will transfer employees by store seniority subject to relevant qualifications. (c) When transferred to a higher rated classification the employee will be placed on the wage scale at the level which gives them an increase and shall proceed upwards thereafter in accordance with the time frames. When transferred to a lower rated classification the employee will be placed at the level equal to their rate of pay but not higher than the top rate of the new classification. (d) A part-time employee who has been accepted to fill a posted job vacancy cannot apply on any other posted part-time vacancy job except if said job is of a higher rate of pay or a period of six (6) months has elapsed.
