Common use of Job Evaluation Committee Clause in Contracts

Job Evaluation Committee. The State Personnel Director shall give the Union the opportunity to participate in any job evaluation committee established with regard to positions in the bargaining unit. The Union shall be entitled to select five (5) representatives who are State Employees and who are eligible to serve on job evaluation committees. The Union shall designate two (2) of the five (5) as regular members, and the remaining three (3) shall act as alternates. The Union shall have the right to identify and propose to the State Personnel Director the review and/or study of job classifications and/ or positions in relation to Section 5 and 6 of this Article. The State Personnel Director will consider the Union’s request in the same manner and conditions as requests identified by an Employer in accordance with applicable SPB Rules.

The Union shall have the right to identify and propose to the State Personnel SPO Director the review and/or study of job classifications and/ or and/or positions in relation to Section Sections 4 and 5 and 6 of this Article. The State Personnel SPO Director will consider the Union’s request in the same manner and conditions as requests identified by an Employer Agency in accordance with applicable SPB Rules.
