JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION. A. For each classification, job descriptions will be developed and ratified with this Agreement. Said descriptions shall be developed by the bargaining process. The descriptions shall be distributed to all current bargaining unit members and those newly hired by the District. The descriptions will include at a minimum:

A complete, hardcopy job description and a copy of the bargaining unit member’s signed contract with the Board shall be given to each bargaining unit member upon hire and shall include all duties that pertain to his job classification and duties reasonably related to said job. A complete copy of classified job descriptions shall be maintained on the district website, which is accessible to all bargaining unit members in all buildings. No bargaining unit members shall be required to perform a duty outside the bargaining unit member’s job description, unless on temporary assignment.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION. 37.1 The Employer agrees to authorize the Ministry responsible for the Public Service to draw up job descriptions for all positions and classifications for which the Association is the bargaining agent. These descriptions shall be presented to the employee and shall become the recognized job description.

A reasonable number of job description reviews may be requested by the Association. If an employee has a problem with his/her job description, he/she shall discuss that problem with his/her immediate supervisor. If the employee is not satisfied he/she shall request a meeting with the Supervisor and the Building Principal. If the employee is still not satisfied, he/she shall reduce the problem to writing, sign it and return it to the Supervisor. The Supervisor shall forward the written problem to the Building Principal who shall forward it to the Assistant Superintendent, who shall investigate and act on the problem.
