Common use of IRO Engagement Clause in Contracts

IRO Engagement. 1. Amedisys shall engage an IRO (or IROs) that possesses the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO shall conduct the review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph D. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.10 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by Amedisys in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify Amedisys if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, Amedisys may continue to engage the IRO.

Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.10 V.A.3 of the CIA IA or any additional information submitted by Amedisys the Providers in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify Amedisys the Providers if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, Amedisys the Providers may continue to engage the IRO.

Amedisys SpecialCare shall engage an IRO (that possesses, or IROs) IROs that possesses possess, the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO IRO(s) shall conduct the review reviews in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph D. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.10 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by Amedisys SpecialCare in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify Amedisys SpecialCare if the IRO is IRO(s) is/are unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is IRO(s) is/are unacceptable, Amedisys SpecialCare may continue to engage the IROIRO(s).

IRO Engagement. 1. Amedisys The CareAll Entities shall engage an IRO (or IROs) that possesses the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO shall conduct the review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph D. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.10 V.A.8 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by Amedisys the CareAll Entities in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify Amedisys the CareAll Entities if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, Amedisys the CareAll Entities may continue to engage the IRO.
