Invasive Procedures Sample Clauses

The INVASIVE PROCEDURES clause defines the rules and requirements surrounding medical procedures that involve entering the body, such as surgeries or biopsies. Typically, this clause outlines the need for informed consent from the patient, specifies which procedures are considered invasive, and may detail the responsibilities of healthcare providers in obtaining authorization. Its core practical function is to ensure patient safety and legal compliance by clearly establishing when and how invasive procedures can be performed, thereby protecting both patients and medical practitioners from misunderstandings or liability.
Invasive Procedures. Those members of the bargaining unit who are required as part of their normal job responsibilities, and who have received the required training to provide invasive procedures, will be paid a supplement according to the schedule below. (1) Registered Nurse would receive a supplement of $3,400.00 (2) All Licensed Practical Nurses would receive a supplement of $2,500.00 (3) All Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Medical Assistants would receive a supplement of $1,750.00 (4) If an employee does not qualify under Sections 1, 2 or 3 above, but who currently provide cleaning intermittent catheterization or tube feeding and have completed the certified training to perform these tasks would receive a supplement of $750.00
Invasive Procedures. 12.1 It is recommended that two adults are present when invasive procedures are performed unless the parents have agreed to the presence of one adult only. Whilst this may be seen as providing protection against a possible allegation against a member of staff, it further erodes the privacy of the child. 12.2 Schools should make arrangements to ensure that there is always a member of staff nearby when intimate care takes place.
Invasive Procedures. For some children the treatment required for their condition may be invasive in nature. Where this is the case particular care should be taken to maintain the child’s dignity and privacy at all times.
Invasive Procedures. Employees will not be required to perform any invasive medical procedure unless the employee voluntarily chooses to do so or the procedure is a part of the job description explained to the employee before the employee accepts the position involving the need for performing invasive medical procedures.
