Introduction and Context. 1.1 The aim of this policy is to clearly establish the criteria for complaints to be considered by the SAB, and describe how the SAB will deal with such complaints. 1.2 The SAB’s role is to ensure that statutory bodies, independent providers, and the voluntary and community sector work together to safeguard vulnerable adults across Plymouth City. The SAB is not an operational body, nor one that delivers services directly to Adults at Risk. Therefore complaints about individual officers or specific service delivery are addressed by each Partner Agency’s complaints procedure and do not come within the remit of the SAB.
