Interview Panels. When the College deems it necessary to interview applicants for any positions, an interview panel shall be formed. At no time shall any member of the interview panel be related to any applicant being interviewed. All interviews must be done by panels. The panel will ordinarily include the hiring manager/supervisor, a co-worker and a representative from another department. An interview panel will ordinarily consist of not more than four (4) people. Additional people will require mutual agreement between the College and the Union. All applicants must be interviewed by the same panel comprised of the same members. All applicants shall receive the same questions in the interview and be rated in accordance with the guiding factors identified in clause 14.03 (a).
Interview Panels. 27:01 When a vacancy for a Bargaining Unit position for a Teacher exists, an interview panel will be convened by the Principal. Teachers may be invited to suggest candidate search criteria and provide input on the needs of their respective departments/programs. No Teacher shall be a member of an interview panel.

Interview Panels. 11.7.1 Applicants for vacancies will be initially reviewed by OSA management to determine if they meet minimum qualifications and should progress to the panel interview process. The Employer will continue its practice of including bargaining unit staff in the hiring process by including bargaining unit staff on interview panels whenever possible and appropriate. The Employer recognizes the importance of giving BIPOC staff the opportunity to sit on interview panels for openings on their team and hiring managers will work with HR to ensure representative participation from teams in hiring panels.
