Interview Leave. When an Employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position with the Employer, including a promotion, and the Employee’s presence is required for purposes of the selection or promotion process including such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the Employee to travel to and from the place where his/her presence is required: (a) the Employee shall be granted a leave of absence with pay for the required period; or (b) the Employer shall reschedule the time when the Employee’s presence is required; provided the Employee requests a leave of absence of his/her supervisor as soon as possible after the requirement of his/her presence is known.
