Interstate Commerce Sample Clauses
The Interstate Commerce clause establishes the rules and authority governing commercial transactions and activities that cross state lines. In practice, this clause typically clarifies which party is responsible for complying with federal and state regulations affecting goods or services transported or sold between different states. For example, it may specify that a seller must ensure products meet the legal requirements of the destination state. The core function of this clause is to allocate responsibility and ensure legal compliance in multi-state business dealings, thereby reducing the risk of regulatory violations and disputes.
