Interpretation and Glossary Sample Clauses

The INTERPRETATION AND GLOSSARY clause defines how terms and language used throughout the contract should be understood and clarifies the meaning of specific words or phrases. It typically includes a list of defined terms, sets out rules for interpreting the contract (such as how headings or plural words are treated), and may resolve ambiguities in language. This clause ensures that all parties have a shared understanding of key terms and reduces the risk of disputes arising from unclear or inconsistent interpretations.
