Internet Protocol Address Sample Clauses

The Internet Protocol Address clause defines how IP addresses are handled, referenced, or used within the context of the agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies whether IP addresses assigned to a party or used in connection with a service are considered proprietary, how they may be allocated or reassigned, and any restrictions on their use. For example, it may specify that IP addresses provided by a service provider remain their property and must be relinquished upon termination of the agreement. The core function of this clause is to establish clear ownership and usage rights for IP addresses, thereby preventing disputes over their control and ensuring smooth transitions at the end of service relationships.
