Interim Status. A non-disciplinary interruption of employment without pay after an employee has been charged for a crime for which he or she would be terminated if found guilty and continuing until a disposition of the charge or charges or further action by the COMPANY.
Interim Status. (a) Any grievance involving INTERIM STATUS suspension of an individual employee shall be subject to the time limits of ARTICLE 6(2)(a).
Interim Status. When a bargaining unit employee fully takes on the duties of another employee in place of their own job duties for a period of time in excess of one (1) work week, that employee shall be compensated at the pay grade of the interim position, placed at the lowest step in that grade that is not less than five percent (5%) more than the employee’s current grade and step.
Interim Status. The District’s certifications of its financial status pursuant to California Education Code Section 42131 for the prior Fiscal Year was positive.
Interim Status. An interim position is filled to perform the duties of a vacant career position while recruitment is underway. When a unit member holds interim status, per HR R-110, within the bargaining unit, the assignment may not exceed one (1) year in duration without the approval of the Chancellor; and has a maximum of two (2) years.
Interim Status. A) Any grievance involving the interim status suspension of an individual employee shall be submitted in writing to the COMPANY bargaining agent within ten standard working days after the UNION receives notice of the suspension. If such a grievance is not submitted within the ten-day period, the matter shall be considered closed.
