Interconnection procedure. Upon receiving the directive of the Village to interconnect, the franchise shall immediately initiate negotiations with the other affected system or systems in order that all costs may be shared equally among cable companies for both construction and operation of the interconnection link.

Where the City determines that interconnection is technically and economically feasible, the City may request that the Grantee initiate negotiations with the other affected system(s) in order that all costs may be shared equally among the owners of the system(s) to be interconnected for both construction and operation of the interconnection link.
