Common use of Interconnection Customer Authority Clause in Contracts

Interconnection Customer Authority. In accordance with the ISO New England Operating Documents, Applicable Reliability Standards, or successor documents and the LGIA and the LGIP, the Interconnection Customer may take whatever actions or inactions with regard to the Large Generating Facility or the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities during an Emergency Condition in order to (i) preserve public health and safety, (ii) preserve the reliability of the Large Generating Facility or the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, (iii) limit or prevent damage, and (iv) expedite restoration of service. Interconnection Customer shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect of such actions or inactions on the New England Transmission System and the Interconnecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities. System Operator and Interconnecting Transmission Owner shall use Reasonable Efforts to assist Interconnection Customer in such actions.
