INSTRUCTIONAL PERSONNEL. Lateral Pay Grade Advancement: (a lateral pay grade = salary adjustment of one column on the schedule from left to right) An instructional employee who has completed approved under-graduate college courses toward an approved degree plan, or graduate college courses (either toward an approved Master’s Degree Plan or prior course work approval), National Teacher Certification or one selected, pre-approved educational endorsement on a standard teaching certificate specific to the program being taught, shall be granted salary adjustments. This salary adjustment will be effective the July 1st or March 1st subsequent to the filing of evidence of the successful completion of the required hours with the Director of Human Resources. If the prior approval form and official transcript or other evidence is received by March 31 (for adjustments to be effective March 1) and August 30 (for adjustments to be effective July 1) the adjusted salary will be effective on either the 1st day of March or the first working day of the fiscal year. Only Counselors paid on the Instructor Salary Schedule, and Adult Program Instructors, whose programs are required by OK Department of Career Tech to have degrees above the Bachelor level, need not obtain a Standard Teaching Certificate in order to advance laterally on the salary schedule beyond the Bachelor’s Degree column. INSTRUCTIONAL PERSONNEL. All personnel assigned to the SCHOOL will be BOARD employees with their salaries and benefits paid from DISTRICT funding. BOARD will budget and pay for staffing at SCHOOL as mutually agreed upon by TRI and BOARD. Incentive pay will be provided as is mutually agreed upon with both Parties to encourage teachers to work and remain in the SCHOOL for the duration of the Contract. BOARD will ensure that staffing of the SCHOOL is consistent with staffing ratios established for the DISTRICT with any variation of pay or incentive pay subject to reasonable budgetary constraints.
INSTRUCTIONAL PERSONNEL. The Board of Juvenile Affairs (XXX) agrees that all individuals employed to teach students enrolled in the Charter School shall possess a teaching certificate issued by the OSDE that is valid for the entire period of the contract for employment or be otherwise qualified as determined by the Executive Director of XXX. Provisions of this paragraph shall not apply to special education teachers, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 8.6 of this Contract.

INSTRUCTIONAL PERSONNEL. The following is a list of possible duties for the work of full-time instructional personnel (Faculty) during the thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour workweek. The workweek will comprise ten (10) on-campus office hours, fifteen (15) class-contact hours, seven and a half (7.5) campus hours, and seven and a half (7.5) discretionary hours; hours may be adjusted, as required, with written approval of the appropriate Academic Xxxx. In the event that a faculty member’s hours must be adjusted to fulfill teaching obligations, as approved by the appropriate Academic Xxxx, an average of seven and a half (7.5) discretionary hours over the course of the semester will be maintained. This list is not exhaustive and may include other duties as requested by the Xxxx: • Teaching – Full responsibility to provide proper instruction to students. • Preparation and Curriculum - Provide appropriate course preparation to meet course objectives, grade student assignments in a timely manner, and participate in curriculum and new program development and/or revision. Prepare and provide to students on the first day of class a course syllabus that describes the course goals, objectives, and requirements, the nature of the course content, the methods of evaluation to be employed, and the basis upon which grades will be assigned. This course syllabus shall be submitted in advance to and be approved by the supervisor of the department offering the course and shall comply with all departmental standards. • Student Support – Provide student support during posted office hours or by appointment at agreed upon times between the student and the employee that are outside of regularly scheduled office hours. • Testing - Assist in the monitoring of out-of-class testing. • Meetings - Attend and participate in departmental, division, and college-wide meetings by arriving promptly and remaining for the duration of the meeting. • Committee Assignments - Participate in a timely and thorough manner in all campus, CFK, and community committee assignments. • Graduation/Commencement - Attend and participate in graduation/commencement ceremonies in appropriate academic regalia. • Student Organizations - Advise student organizations. • Accreditation - Participate in the preparation of accreditation reports and documents and assist in the preparation for any visitation associated with the accreditation process. • Paperwork - File all paperwork required by CFK in a complete and timely manner. • Grades - Submi...
