Common use of Innovative Work Schedules Clause in Contracts

Innovative Work Schedules. An innovative schedule is defined as a work schedule that requires a change, modification or waiver of any provisions of this Employment Agreement. Written innovative work schedules may be established by mutual agreement between the Hospital and the nurse involved. Prior to the implementation of a new innovative work schedule, the Employer and the Association will review and determine conditions of employment relating to that work schedule. Where innovative schedules are utilized, the Employer retains the right to revert back to the eight (8) hour day schedule or the work schedule which was in effect immediately prior to the innovative work schedule, after at least three (3) weeks' advance notice to the nurse. Current innovative shifts are set out in Appendices A and B to this agreement.
