Injury or Sickness Sample Clauses
The 'Injury or Sickness' clause defines what constitutes an injury or illness for the purposes of the agreement, typically in the context of insurance or employment benefits. This clause clarifies the conditions or events that qualify as an injury or sickness, such as physical harm from an accident or a medically diagnosed illness, and may specify exclusions or limitations, like pre-existing conditions or self-inflicted injuries. Its core function is to establish clear criteria for coverage or benefits eligibility, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes over what situations are covered under the policy or agreement.
