Informal Complaint. A. Within five (5) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within five (5) days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall discuss his/her complaint in a meeting with his/her immediate supervisor (as specified in Section 2).
Informal Complaint. Any complaint which does not meet the definition of a formal complaint shall be considered an informal complaint.
Informal Complaint. 1. Within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the occurrence of the matter on which the complaint is based or within twenty- one (21) calendar days from his knowledge of such occurrence, an employee may discuss his complaint in a meeting with his immediate supervisor. The employee shall remain in a fully paid status while participating in this process.
Informal Complaint. 7 10.1.1 If the Superintendent or the unit member’s Principal receives an oral complaint, 8 they may exercise their discretion whether or not to direct the complainant to 9 meet with the unit member to discuss the complaint. However, the Principal 10 should inform the unit member of the complaint.
Informal Complaint. A. Before filing a written grievance, the employee shall attempt to resolve the problem in meeting with his immediate supervisor.
Informal Complaint. An informal complaint under this Article is a complaint where all of the following apply:
Informal Complaint a. A complainant who believes that he or she has been subjected to harassment or discrimination should take direct action, if possible, to make the offender aware of unease and/or disapproval. The complainant may choose to consult with a Recipient of Complaints, for the purpose of receiving advice, counseling or assistance, with a view to resolving the situation.
Informal Complaint. A teacher who believes that there has been a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of this Agreement shall first discuss such complaint with the principal or responsible administrator with the objective of attempting to resolve the matter informally. If the complaint is not successfully resolved within five working days after such discussion, the teacher may file a grievance.
Informal Complaint. It is the mutual desire of the parties that complaints of employees shall be addressed as quickly as possible, and it is understood that an employee normally shall give their immediate supervisor an opportunity of adjusting their complaint. Where the supervisor is also the employee’s thesis supervisor or grades the employee’s academic work, the employee may request the assistance of a Union Xxxxxxx. If an employee has a complaint, they shall first discuss the matter with their supervisor, with or without a Union representative of the employee’s choice, within ten (10) working days after the employee would reasonably be expected to have become aware of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint. The supervisor shall be allowed ten (10) working days to seek information and advice and to communicate their answer to the complainant. Failing a satisfactory settlement, the complaint may be taken up as a grievance in the following manner:
Informal Complaint. Except in the case of a discharge, the affected employee and/or the Union representative must discuss informally with his/her supervisor any complaint arising out of interpretation of the terms of this Agreement before filing a formal grievance.
