Informal Complaint. A. Within five (5) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within five (5) days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall discuss his/her complaint in a meeting with his/her immediate supervisor (as specified in Section 2). B. Within five (5) business days from the day of the discussion with the employee, his/her immediate supervisor (as specified in Section 2) shall verbally reply to the employee's complaint.
Informal Complaint. Any complaint which does not meet the definition of a formal complaint shall be considered an informal complaint.
Informal Complaint. 1. Within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the occurrence of the matter on which the complaint is based or within twenty- one (21) calendar days from the employee’s knowledge of such occurrence, an employee may discuss the employee’s complaint in a meeting with the employee’s immediate supervisor. The employee shall remain in a fully paid status while participating in this process. 2. Within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day of discussion with the employee, the immediate supervisor, or in his or her absence, his or her authorized representative shall orally reply to the employee's complaint.
Informal Complaint. 7 10.1.1 If the Superintendent or the unit member’s Principal receives an oral complaint, 8 they may exercise their discretion whether or not to direct the complainant to 9 meet with the unit member to discuss the complaint. However, the Principal 10 should inform the unit member of the complaint. 11 10.1.2 This complaint procedure does not apply to a complaint made by one employee of 12 the District against another employee of the District. Such complaints shall be 13 resolved as determined by the Superintendent or designee. Complaints presented 14 to the Governing Board must be submitted in writing.
Informal Complaint. A. Before filing a written grievance, the employee shall attempt to resolve the problem in meeting with his immediate supervisor. B. The immediate supervisor shall give an oral response to the employee within five (5) days of the date the issue was raised by the employee.
Informal Complaint. An informal complaint under this Article is a complaint where all of the following apply: (a) The Complaint does not allege unlawful harassment, (b) The Complaint is not a grade grievance, and (c) The District has not initiated a formal investigation. Informal harassment complaints and informal resolution of harassment complaints shall be handled in conformance with the San Mateo County Community College District Discrimination and Harassment Investigations Procedures, Section VII. Student grade grievances shall be handled in conformance with the grade grievance procedures at each college.
Informal Complaint. 17.2.1 Within seven (7) working days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based or within seven (7) working days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee and/or Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/Union Officer shall discuss his/her complaint/contract violation in a meeting with his/her immediate supervisor. Within five (5) working days from the date of such discussion, the supervisor shall respond in writing to the attendees of the initial meeting. 17.2.2 If the issue remains unresolved, the Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may then proceed through the formal grievance process.
Informal Complaint. A teacher who believes that there has been a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of this Agreement shall first discuss such complaint with the principal or responsible administrator with the objective of attempting to resolve the matter informally. If the complaint is not successfully resolved within five working days after such discussion, the teacher may file a grievance.
Informal Complaint. A complainant who believes that he or she has been subjected to harassment or discrimination should take direct action, if possible, to make the offender aware of unease and/or disapproval. The complainant may choose to consult with a Recipient of Complaints, for the purpose of receiving advice, counseling or assistance, with a view to resolving the situation.
Informal Complaint. Except in the case of a discharge, the affected employee and/or the Union representative must discuss informally with his/her supervisor any complaint arising out of interpretation of the terms of this Agreement before filing a formal grievance.
