Individual Vacation Days. Full-time nurses will be granted single vacation days or multiples thereof upon request to a maximum total of five (5) days per year, provided the employer agrees to the request.

Individual Vacation Days. Employees will have the opportunity to schedule up to one week of annual vacation as individual days prior to March 01. Individual days will be scheduled in order of seniority, once all employees within the work group have had an opportunity to schedule full week blocks. Employees who wish to schedule additional individual days after March 01 will do so on a first-come, first-served basis.

Individual Vacation Days. Employees will have the opportunity to request vacation on a day-to-day basis, provided there is an opening on the vacation sign-up. An employee may request a vacation day off no later than 14 calendar days prior to the requested day off, except in unusual situations. The Employer will make a good faith effort to notify the employee of a vacation day approval within three (3) weekday days from being submitted. Other Than Bid Vacation requests for the following year will be accepted from the employee after the completion of the annual vacation bid. A date for submittal of Other Than Bid Vacation requests will be chosen based on the ending of the annual vacation bid. Employees will sign and date their leave requests for Other Than Bid Vacation using the chosen date. All leave requests submitted before or on that date are approved based on seniority and openings on the vacation sign-up. These requests will be approved before any other individual vacation day requests with submittal dates after the designated date for the Other Than Bid Vacation requests for the following year.
