Individual Ownership and Responsibility. Except as otherwise explicitly provided herein, each party to this Agreement shall at all times hold and own its respective properties. Each party shall be solely authorized to supervise, direct, and manage its own activities and the activities of its respective employees and agents. Each party shall retain sole responsibility and liability for its own acts and omissions hereunder and for the acts and omissions of its respective employees and agents hereunder.

No Party shall be liable for any act or omission of another Telecommunications Carrier (other than an affiliate) providing a portion of a service, unless such Telecommunications Carrier is an authorized agent, subcontractor, or other retained by the party providing the service.
