Common use of Indigenous Peoples Clause in Contracts

Indigenous Peoples. The Borrower shall ensure or cause the EA to ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project, each Subproject and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and the State relating to indigenous peoples; (b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards; (c) the IPPF; and (d) all measures and requirements set forth in the respective IPP, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.

Indigenous Peoples. The Borrower shall ensure ensure, or cause the EA to ensure ensure, that in the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project, each Subproject and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and the State relating to indigenous peoples; (b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards; (c) the IPPF; and (d) all measures and requirements set forth in the respective IPP, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.

The Borrower shall ensure or cause the EA and the IAs to ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project, each Subproject and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and the State relating to indigenous peoples; (b) the Indigenous Peoples SafeguardsSafeguards as defined in the SPS; (c) the IPPF; and (d) all measures and requirements set forth in the respective IPP, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.
